Beginning again and again and again and again....

A and now there are new pedals but more fiddling is needed. And the warp is almost 7 yards and 22 inches wide.  I wanted the pedals so I could weave patterns but the loom isn't there yet. So I weave...

And it is always  a surprise what happens, the choices I make don't always feel up to me....and there are all these little bits too fall in love with and all of the sudden my tastes have changed and beautiful is a wider bigger field to revel in. 

 

What will it all become?

Limited by the heddles

564 threads almost 7 yards long.... There were more threads but there were no more heddles!

5 warp chains, and I only lost the cross on a small section of the first one ( the yellow part). Some snarls...

It's winding on...

Important numbers

Counted heddles on harnesses...144 on each, that makes for  72 on each side of each harness one has 73 so....at 24 threads per inch I can make 24 inches of warp, also known as 576 warp strings.... The number of warp ends keep growing with every piece I do.

Note Helpful husband arm...he's soooo good at counting!  

The warp is through the reed ( all 25 inches of it! ) ...one inch will have to come out.

More warp and some hardware

Leaning toward 500ish ends, 24epi 8/2 black cotton and yellow cottolin. About 24inches wide.   

Bought hardware to make this converted table loom into a 6 pedal counter balance loom. 

Warps

Summit is over and the table loom is in the pre k warped with bailing twine.

New warp on the frame 6+ yards 250ish threads at the moment.  More than half is black, the yellow I string to find its way in irregularly.
